AK Llamas was one of four artists selected to fill the seven skylights from entries all over the United States. Their design was so clever and yet subtle in the way it communicated the spirit of the Music Festival. The sculpture is visually entertaining and has a very thoughtful and meaningful message; they really did a superb job at interpreting the criteria of the RFP. In addition to creating the concept for the installation, the work also had to be designed to fit very stringent measurements for the skylights, be UV durable and safe to hang in the skylight for almost 9 months.
Kristin and Alfonso are a pleasure to work with. They are extremely professional and delivered all required materials on time. They have a deep knowledge of public art that makes working with them a great experience.

Beginning in March of 2013, I have had the most pleasurable experience of working with the artistic team of AK Llamas, which is composed of husband and wife Alfonso and Kristin Llamas. During this time, the artists have successfully executed two large-scale, temporary outdoor installations under the aegis of the Tennessee State Museum. Both of these projects have promoted community engagement and interaction while magically transforming three downtown city blocks into an outdoor canvas for art.
